On June 25th, I will join thousands of patriots and
veterans on a walk from Gettysburg to New Kensington, PA where we will
celebrate the 4th of July together.
I will walk approximately 200 miles on this journey to
honor our veterans in this PA Hero Walk Event.
I was inspired by the Kiski Valley Patriots and
Veterans Associate to join them in this effort. I need your
support. I am asking friends, family, and colleagues to
Sponsor my walk with a donation that will go directly
to the Wounded Warriors Project. These funds help families of
fallen soldiers and those needing care.
There is no set dollar amount to donate.
Whatever you choose to give will be greatly appreciated. My
personal goal is to raise at least $1,000 in sponsorships
to give to the Wounded Warriors Project. Please
share this letter with others you know that might be willing to donate
(church, civic groups, clubs, co-workers, etc)
and invite them to participate in this opportunity to
show our veterans and their families how much we appreciate the
sacrifices they make for our freedom.
I will need to receive your donation by JUNE 20, 2009
